America Recycles Day 2009 is November 15th

November 15 is America Recycles Day! ARD is the only nationally recognized day to renew recycling efforts across our University campus, state, and country. The purpose of America Recycles Day is to promote the social, environmental and economic benefits of recycling and encourage more people to join the movement toward creating a better natural environment.

The Recycling Program will be celebrating America Recycles Day handing out reusable coffee mugs to promote their use over disposable. We will be on the Central Campus Diag on November 12th from 11am-1pm. Stop by for a mug (while supplies last!) and information about recycling at the U!
