The Heavy Equipment Garage is a full service garage servicing the Plant Department's rental equipment. They also repair equipment for the University at large. There are three heavy equipment mechanics on staff. The garage also has two service vehicles for road service; a utility truck and a wrecker.

Departments outside of Plant Operations can have their equipment repaired by supplying their department's short code.
