We offer reupholstery services for office furniture, lobby furniture, patient rooms and waiting areas, lounges, dining areas, lecture halls, auditoriums, transportation vehicles, private offices, conference rooms, and more.

Wood Furniture Repair

We repair and reglue chair and sofa frames of all types, including upholstered and furnished pieces, bookshelves, tables, and more. We also repair caning on chair seats and backs.

Sports and Therapy Equipment

We provide upholstery services, special graded fabrics materials, and special foam padding for specific needs in weight rooms and for training and therapy equipment.

Transportation Material

We have a complete line of materials for transportation seating, including strong, durable vinyls for trucks, bus seats, vans, and grounds equipment; and marine Naugahyde® for tractors, hi-los, and other outdoor equipment.

Auditorium Seating

The Upholstery Shop has completely refurbished Rackham Auditorium and Hill Auditorium, and provides maintenance programs for the Power Center for the Performing Arts, the UM football stadium, and other venues.

Other Services

The Upholstery Shop can also repair and refurbish acoustical panels, tack boards, air conditioner covers, carpeting, equipment covers, instrument bags, movie screens, tool bags, and window shades.

Pick-Up and Delivery Service

We'll transport your furniture to and from our shop, piece by piece or in large groups, according to your needs.
